Leica M6… is this the start of a love affair!

I moved back to film photography almost a year ago and immediately fell in love with the craft. The uncertainty, and joys of having a film developed and then scanned and sent back to you, rekindled the old memories. I have purchased a few vintage cameras and a collection of lenses and have been happy with my results the majority of the time. I do need to slow done a little bit more though.

I had always looked longingly at the Leica cameras and having never owned one, wanted to try the experience.

I have now taken the plunge! I have only used one roll of film (Portra 400)and am still getting to grips with a rangefinder camera, but, I am in LOVE.

I am not sure if its the Leica brand, the solid mechanical feeling when using or just the sound of the shutter… it does have something.

I know have dreams of going back to Nepal and Tibet with my M6, a few lenses and rolls of film and just walking and shooting. It will happen!

So below are the first of hopefully what will be a love affair with my new favourite and a collection of cultured old school shots.
