Nature Bathing - Creating Headspace

I have always loved the outdoors, I am much more comfortable sat amongst the trees rather than sat in a city coffee bar.

I am fortunate enough to live close to Ainsdale Sand Dunes National Nature Reserve and they create the perfect opportunity for a session of “Nature Bathing” when I take the opportunity.

I try to keep things very simple and set up my tarp for shelter and always take a means of boiling some water to have that much needed brew and a piece of cake or a few biscuits!

The craft of building a shelter definitely triggers a calming mindfulness type state and taking time out to reflect and be present whilst enjoying the brew is a perfect way to start the day.

It also helps having a brilliant partner in crime, my trusty Border Terrier, Jim.
